Privacy Policy

This is a personal blog hosted on GitHub Pages. It does not require an account, accept payments, or store personal data on a server I control. I try to keep the data footprint small.
What I (and my providers) collect
- Hosting (GitHub Pages): GitHub serves this site over HTTPS and may log standard request data (IP address, user-agent, referrer) per its Privacy Statement.
- Analytics: I use Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager to understand which posts are read and how visitors arrive. Analytics use cookies and may collect IP-derived approximate location, device type, and browsing behavior on this site. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Comments (Disqus): Some posts use Disqus for comments. If you choose to comment, Disqus collects whatever you submit (name, email, profile) under their privacy policy. You can read the site without commenting.
- CDN (Fastly): GitHub Pages uses Fastly as a CDN; standard CDN access logs apply.
What I do not collect
- I do not sell, share, or rent any data.
- I do not run remarketing pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or third-party ad networks.
- I do not require accounts, logins, or payment information.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for analytics and (if you interact) Disqus. You can block cookies at the browser level without losing site functionality — the only thing that breaks is comments.
Your choices
- Block cookies in your browser, or use a privacy extension. The site will work fine.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the official browser add-on.

Children
Content here targets a professional engineering audience and is not directed at children under 13.
